Wednesday. By the time Melissa got home last night I'd played some XBOX, then she woke Penny up (probably on purpose) and got into the bath, so I was back on baby patrol.
By the time I'd gotten her to sleep I had a headache and a lust for whiskey, some of which I hastily poured over ice and enjoyed with some Blackadder and South Park. Then bed.
We all slept babyesque and it was 7am before my alarm went off and I was up and about, showering and what not. Then I walked to work leaving Melissa and Penny to do whatever it is they do.
Work was busy today and I left a little later than usual, conscious I needed to get home to relieve my mother in law of baby sitting duty. But when I got home, there was no one there. Mother in law and Penny and been out for a walk. I was handed the baton (and Penny) and gave her her dinner and then we dossed about until Melissa got home from wherever it is she was.
Bath and bed, then while I cooked a late tea. Penny's refusing to sleep at the moment though. Not my concern, I'm roasting parsnips. Possibly a euphemism.
This evening : more XBOX.
