Another good night, all three of us slept well.
I woke at about 7am, Penny was still fast asleep, so was Melissa. I got up, showered and went to work saying "goodbye" to a sleeping house.
It was a cold walk to work, but a pleasant one. No rain.
Work was mostly alright, it was a Friday (still is) which helps take the edge off. I got my watch made shorter at the kiosk, and drank coffee and ate cookies at lunchtime. As is the norm.
I forgot potatoes from (the) ASDA last night, and fortunately Howard was going my way (he wasn't, I made him) so I picked up some spuds and then got driven home, chauffeur style.
My mother in law was waiting for me, with Penny, as Melissa had gone out. She left and me and Penny had a wrestle. She got bored watching me chop the aforementioned potatoes and so I sat her in her ball pond where she chunnered away to herself for a bit, before getting bored of that. Pretty soon she was knackered, grouchy, and bored. A horrible combination. She fell asleep in my arms at one point, but not for long. I woke her up and then we went upstairs to wait for mummy. I ran her bath, and thought about trying to put her in it, but couldn't fathom a safe way to stow Penny while I regulated the temperature with the cold water. So I walked round the house with her for a bit and finally mummy came home.
Melissa bathed her, and I made a bottle up, and boiled the spuds I'd peeled oh so long ago.
Penny bathed, bottled and bedded, Melissa and I ate our tea.
I'm drinking beers and playing XBOX this evening, but hoping for a moderately early night because I've somewhat foolishly booked the car in for a service at 8AM.
Have a great weekend, see you tomorrow!
