We eventually got Penny to sleep. It wasn't easy. She woke up again at half past midnight. And again at like, I don't know. I have no idea.
She was OK though, she woke at about 7:20am, in time to wake me up after a snooze and realise I was late for work.
I trotted to work, and at lunchtime met Melissa, Emma, Penny and Harold at Subway. Penny tried her hardest to get my latte, but I won in the end. She settled for a plastic cutlery wrapper. Less caffeine. I went for a mooch then, with Howard, and bought myself another latte from Gregg's. I genuinely think I have a slight caffeine addiction. Adam is in work tomorrow. I pray he's planning on going to the Womble Inn for breakfast; he'll surely stop at Subway for me, for a latte. Surely.
I got a lift home at 4pm with Jeff, and played with Penny and Melissa for a bit. Penny's getting more and more mobile, but while she's not crawling yet, she's throwing herself about, not happy to sit still any more. While this is cute and funny, it's slightly less cute and funny when she throws herself over and smashes her face on Melissa's dinner plate, causing a bruise and screaming. She's ok though. It was more a shock than anything. She was back to her normal self after a few minutes and gorging herself on Petit Filous.
Bath, bed. She's asleep now. I wonder how long that'll last.
I'm going to play XBOX this evening, once I've put the recycling out of course.
Thursday tomorrow. If that's not good news, I don't know what is.
