Thursday was a loooooooooong day. I don't remember specifics, but I do remember meeting Lea and Stew in Liverpool One for The Avengers. Colin and Dave arrived a little later and we sat and watched the film.
It was really good. I want to see it again, so I'm either going on my own or I'm going to persuade Melissa to come with me. I'm not sure she will though.
I didn't get home until after midnight, hence no blog.
I woke up this morning at 7am. And went straight back to sleep. Penny woke me up at 7:30 and I had a mad dash to get to work. I used an app on my phone to find out it's exactly 1 mile door to door and I average about 4mph. You don't care though. I barely do.
Needless to say, today was Friday. It was a longish day at work, but only because I was tired and looking forward to the weekend.
I left work a little early so I could get home to to look after Penny. On the way I saw the woodpecker. It was sat on top of a lamp post, pecking the shit out of the plastic cover. What a retard.
Anyway Melissa had to go out, so it was me and Penny for 2 hours. And what a lovely 2 hours it was. We played and wrestled, she licked the couch, chewed some blocks and generally had a lovely time.
Melissa came home and we went to put Penny in the bath I'd run but the water was freezing cold. I checked the boiler and the pressure had dropped below 1bar, so I think the boiler had cut out because of it. I topped it back up and bish bash bosh, nice warm bath. It later transpired Melissa had been tinkering with the radiators. Bloody women!
Melissa's feeding a very sleepy Penny and I'm cooking tea, I will soon go to (the) ASDA for beers, and then I will come home and drink them, before playing XBOX all evening.
