Slept alright. The MSG in the Chinese food kept me awake for longer than I'd have liked. 7am we were all awake, I got Penny up and then marched to work. I teetered on the brink of getting a lift, but decided to walk. I'm glad I did. I got closer to the woodpecker than ever before, but he stopped when he heard me approach. I've still never seen the bugger.
Work was predominately alright, as per. Mark had bought me a latte from McDonalds which was nice of him. I went to the Conny at lunch with Pete for postage stamps and stuff, in the rain, and got a text from Melissa.
I left work at 3pm as a result of the text, and supervised Penny while my mum and dad came to visit. We had a nice time, and Penny seems to have gotten over her fear of my dad to a degree. She seems to like my mum, anyway.
She's been a little whiney today, apparently. Penny, not my mum. Probably teeth. We had her in bed just after 6pm anyway. She had vegetable ravioli and potato waffles for tea, but lost interest in that after a while so Melissa gave her some toast. She loves toast.
I heated through the mushy pea curry that Melissa had cobbled together, made some chips and boiled some rice. I pity anyone sitting near me tomorrow at work.
This evening, bins go out, I play Modern Warfare 3, and go to bed earlyish where I have trouble sleeping because of my excitement for The Avengers tomorrow.
Melissa is likely to spend her evening stressing about an outfit to wear on Saturday night, so I may have to give her opinions to disagree with at times. Hopefully it wont disrupt my violent computer game too much.
