I walked to work, thankfully not in the rain, and it was 10am by the time I received a text from Melissa saying they'd both just woken up. It's alright for some.
Work was uneventful. I did buy new batteries for the bathroom scales. That's about as exciting as it gets. Ellen gave me a lift home and I prepared tea for Melissa and Me (she and Penny were out playing with Emma and Harry).
Tea was mostly delicious (if I do say so myself) however, in my hungry haste, I failed to check the date on the noodles, and only realised there was something wrong when I was dishing up.
Yes, that says 22/11/2010. That explained the funny taste, searing headache and melting walls.
Just kidding, they were really nice. I'll let you know of any nasty side effects tomorrow. Provided we survive.
Penny had to have an early bath due to a super-shitty nappy, so once we'd had tea we played with her and she bounced in her jumperoo until it looked like it was going to break.
Melissa's off to (the) ASDA in a second, she obviously thinks we don't give them enough of our hard earned money.
I'm hoping to play computer games, or watch a film later. Friday tomorrow. I might even have a beer.
