A good nights sleep was had all round, Penny woke up shortly after the cats started banging on the kitchen door to be let out.
I got up at 7, let the cats out, made Penny a bottle, had snuggles with her, showered and went to work. It was cooler this morning (not in a Fonzy sense) and the walk was quite refreshing.
Work was ok, but the sooner I see the back of this project the better.
Melissa gave me a lift home and dumped with a tentatively sleeping Penny while she went to the gym. Penny was not pleased to see me when she woke up and played up for me for the entire time Melissa was at the gym. She wouldn't even sit in her chair for some food. I ended up walking round the house aimlessly with her for about 45 minutes. Fun.
Melissa came home, and she shut straight up and went for snuggles, food, smiles, laughs, giggles. She best change her tune. Or else.
Once she was in bed we ate a delicious cottage pie that Melissa had cobbled together and now it's time to chill. Beer in hand, it's almost time for a film or something.
Thursday tomorrow. Payday. Oh yes.
