Slept OK, but Penny had a rough start to the night. Poor little bugger wouldn't go to sleep and appeared to be in a lot of discomfort. We gave her Dentinox and Calpol but they didn't settle her, so Melissa picked her up for a snuggle and then she farted and burped herself to sleep. Penny, not Melissa. Poor little bugger had windy pops.
After that we were good. Still no teeth though.
Up at 7am, off to work. Work was better today, but not by much. Still quite busy, and I was more tired than I thought I would be. The four day weekend next week is looking really, really good. Even better as I've booked the Tuesday off, so that's a five day weekend. For those who are counting. It was another glorious day today, and Melissa took Penny to play with Harry at Emma's house. They all sat in the garden playing and talking while I sat in sweltering office, sweating my nuts off.
Worse still I had to hang round in work until half 4 again (I was there until 6pm yesterday) because of a problem, and when I got home Penny was thrust into my arms and Melissa went out the door to the gym.
Me and Penny had a lovely time. I gave her her tea and we sat in the living room playing, then came up to my office to listen to some music and watch the live webcast of the world premier of Titanic 3D. She wasn't too fussed on the later so we went back downstairs to wait for Melissa.
She got home, we bathed Penny, put her to bed and then Melissa cooked tea while I called my mum.
Absolutely knackered, once again. Don't know what to do tonight. I might watch a light-hearted comedy film, or I might just get into bed and read comics.
Who can know?
First things first though : The Dishes. See you tomorrow.
