We were up then, and raring to go. Out the door a little after 8:15am, to McDonalds for cofffee and to Wallasey to collect my father. The weather was, typically, hideous and the drive was horrible at first, but as we made our way into Wales the weather perked up and by the time we got to Morfa Nefyn (just past Anglesey).

We left, then, said our goodbyes and headed home. The weather on the way home was much, much better. I even put my sunglasses on at one point. We dropped my dad home and just as we hit the tunnel Penny shit. Big style. The air in the car almost turned green, I'm sure of it. But there was worse to come. When we hit the M58, from almost nowhere, the sky died. Hail, sleet, snow. The temperature dropped from 5 degrees to 0degrees in the space of about 5 minutes and we had to slow down for fear of sliding off the road.
That's what it looked like when we got home, but it had stopped sleeting and started raining by then, so it doesn't look as bad as it had been. It was nuts.
We hurried inside with shitty Penny and had to give her an early bath, she was a write off.
I then went to (the) ASDA as I felt I hadn't done enough driving today (over 250 miles) and bought some stuff for tea today and tomorrow.
We had a lovely day and Penny was incredibly well behaved. Grandma and grandad loved her and she was so pleasant, and didn't even whimper once. Epic Penny is epic.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got beer to drink.
See you tomorrow!
