I was up with Penny at 2:30am, but thankfully only for a few minutes. Melissa was asleep, oblivious. I dozed back off, and awoke at about 7am with my alarm. Penny was stirring, so I applied her dummy and off she went until about 7:45am, at which point I was well on my way to work.
Work was quite hectic today, which was nice. Busy, busy busy. Treated myself to a coffee and a cookie at lunchtime and had my first monthly review of the year which went as well as could be expected.
Melissa met me after work with Penny after an (the) ASDA trip for veg and pizza flavour Pom-Bear crisps for me, and then we went home. We both cooked tea, me for today and Melissa for tomorrow, fed and bathed Penny as is the norm and put her to bed. She's very very teethy this evening, but is rolling with the punches admirably.
This evening I'm determined to watch a film and have a drink, and checking the clock I've got plenty of time in which to do it.
