She finally went off at about 6am and I got back into bed and we slept until about 9:15am. Bliss. I got up and made us breakfast once the carpet men had informed us they'd be with us at about 12pm, and so it came to pass, that at 11:45am the carpet men arrived and fitted our new carpet for us.
I'm so happy with it. I never thought a carpet would make me as happy as it did. But it did. I cleaned up after them, even though they said they would do it for me and just as I was finishing I wasn't convinced the hoover was working, so I checked, with my finger. I know have blisters all over my left ring finger and it's sore to bed. But at least I know the hoover's working, and at least I checked with my finger, and not another body part. Like my penis.
We sorted Penny out and headed into Wigan for teats and a tshirt.
It was cold, which is what the above photo was supposed to illustrate, but our missions were accomplished with style, elegance and grace and then headed to nana's for a pit stop bottle and other food. I had a yoghurt, for example.
Then we headed up to Matt and Nic's to drop off Henry's birthday present. He was 1 earlier in the week. He was eating cheese puffs, and so not to be out done, Penny had a go.
