Well, Wednesday. What a nice surprise.
Penny, as predicted, was restless for most of the night, so none of us slept particularly well. Still, at 7am I'd much rather wake up to a chunnering, gurgling baby then a screeching alarm clock.
I had a shower and marched to work through the cold winter morn and had planned to spend the day going through a sheet for a man called Dave. However, we were harangued with other stuff and that got sidelined, which is annoying, because originally, when I had quite a bit of time, I couldn't be bothered doing it, and now I'm trying to, I can't find a minute to do it. Irony.
I got a lift home from Howard and hoovered the house. My father in law had been round to fit the bath panel, and had made an unholy mess of the dining room. Still, it's done a good job and the bathroom is one step closer to completion. Just a toilet roll holder to be fitted now and we're done.
Melissa and Penny came home at about 6pm, we bathed Penny, fed her and then I cooked tea while Penny (reluctantly) went to sleep. Once she was off we Skyped my mum and dad and then I did the dishes.
Melissa's in the bath, and I'm tired again. I might watch a film, I might just ... Err, no, my options are limited. I'm going to have to watch a film.
See you tomorrow, Thursday to you. Friday to me.
Bye!
