Friday. Oh yes.
Despite being PROPERLY pissed off last night, and not taking her bottle, Penny slept from 7 until about 7. Very nice. I got up, showered, walked to work, as per.
Spent the day almost breaking stuff, and actually breaking stuff. I don't know why they let me near the mainframe, I really don't. More fool them.
It wasn't a particularly scintillating day, the 90 minute meeting late in the afternoon really didn't help, either. It rained for most of the day, too, which really 'dampened' the mood. Fortunately, it held off at 4pm, just as I was leaving, so I walked home and remained almost completely dry. It started to rain a bit as I approached the house, thank God for teeny tiny brollies that fit in my satchel.
Nanny was minding Penny again while Melissa was out getting her hair done for her birthday (Monday), and she reported that Penny had been very stubborn once again, refusing her bottle and generally being a moody cow. Melissa arrived home just after me, and told the same story. Penny had had her full bottle at 7am, half her 11:30am bottle and after that no bottle at all. She turned her nose up at it. She's been eating solid food (porridge, some sort of cheesy broccoli bake thing, mushed up fruit) she just won't take bottle. The internet has informed us that this could be because of the teething, and that it should pass, and the health visitor has corroborated this tale. She had her bottle this evening, we thing because she was starving. And she's fast asleep now, too, so that's nice.
I'm still cooking tea, and I'm absolutely starving. Melissa's just got out the bath. She's going to be ironing this evening, I hope she remembers how. I don't know what I'm going to be doing, I've given up on Zelda. The last boss was an utter twat. I nearly smashed the controller on the floor a few times, and I punched the TV remote on a number of occasions too. I stopped enjoying myself, so stopped playing the game. Before someone (other than me) got hurt.
Have a great weekend everyone!
