10am came and I got up, begrudgingly to prepare bacon and egg butties for myself and Melissa before our weekly "jaunt" to (the) ASDA. We took the car, and just as well. We bought LOADS of stuff. Nappies, mainly, and other bulky baby crap. They're having a "Baby Event" at the moment, so we're stocking up. Not on baby's. Baby related stuff.
Afterwards we came home and fed Penny and we had originally planned to go for a walk with Melissa's fried Emma, her fella Stuart and their little boy Harry, but they bottled it, citing "rain" as a reason. Wimps.
We wrapped up and went for a walk ourselves.

It barely rained and we took in the sights of some of the quieter parts of Skelmersdale, including a Blair-witchy house and a section of the Tawd that didn't look like it had been used as a dump for industrial waste.
Once we'd done walking, and just before the rain started again, we came home where I cooked an epic roast dinner.
Alright, maybe not "epic" but it was damn tasty. And healthy. And isn't that what's most important?
Penny's just enjoying her bed time bottle while I try and decide what to do this evening. Her teeth have been bothering her a bit again today. I've said it before and I'll say it again "thank God for Dentinox".
I'm exhausted and could do without going to work tomorrow. But there we go.
See you then!
