Penny slept through, more or less... A little mooching for her dummy here and there, but she generally slept all the way through.
I walked to work again, through the very brisk winter (spring?) air and noticed frost in various places. It was genuinely chilly this morning, which makes a change. I also remembered my pass and desk key, so another refreshing change. Better still, I was the first one in. Who said Friday the 13th was unlucky?
Work was good day, quite busy, kept me ticking over until 4pm. I had to get a Subway wrap for lunch today because when I went to make my lunch last night the bread had developed a mould that was uncomfortable eating.
Melissa met me in Iceland after work (the discount frozen food retailer, not the one with the captial city of Reykjavik) and we bought some stuff, then went to (the) ASDA for some baby rice for Penny and wine for Melissa.
Home, then. Penny has been out and about all day, and was hungry, toothy, and tired. In that order. So, when we got in there was a mad dash to make a bottle up and prep Penny's carrots. We didn't give her her
That eaten (later than usual for us too) we bathed her, fed her and put her to bed. She's a proper tired bunny after her busy day seeing people. She was especially grouchy because of her teeth too, so the sooner we got her to bed the better.
This evening Melissa will no doubt be watching Big Brother while I do something. I'm considering playing some Zelda, but I might have a glass of wine and watch a film.
Saturday tomorrow. Lie ins for all of us. Yay! Given current budgetary restraints we're hoping for a nice cheap weekend, so weather permitting we're hoping to go for a walk tomorrow. Double yay!
