After Melissa went out last night, I spent my time looking at this :
It's by far the best, and only baby monitor I've ever had the privilege of using. It has a thermometer, as you can see, but it also has a movement sensing pad that checks if the baby's breathing and so forth, as well as the traditional speaker thing.
I stared at it intently for almost 90 minutes, taking it everywhere I went, and only once did it make any noise, when Penny decided she wanted her dummy. I rectified that situation and we didn't hear from her again until 6am.
When I woke at 6am, I made the mistake of going back to sleep for a bit. Woke up then, with my alarm at 7am, then 7:10am, then 7:20am, feeling progressively worse. I got up, showered and walked to work.
Work was, typically, Tuesday and moderately busy. Nothing more to report, except for the fact that I bought sandwich bags at lunchtime. Woah.
Walked home from work with Melissa and Penny who looked like this :
That's right, warm. Adorable and warm.
Home, then, and Melissa fed Penny while we watched a man play a really good game of Deal or No Deal. Then I cooked tea, which we ate. It just so happened that Jungle Junction came on after tea, so I sat and watched that with Penny, under duress I might add. Then Curious George came on and that's shit, so I came up here to write this and avoid doing the dishes.
Bath's running, gonna make up her bottle in a minute, than it's bed time.
I will hoover at some point, I think, and no doubt do the dishes that I shirked earlier. Then maybe a film, maybe some TV, maybe a book then bed. Although, in bed, Melissa will be watching endless reality TV so I might not book and bed. I might just book. Then, later, bed.
See you tomorrow!
