We didn't get a peep out of Penny until about 2am, when she woke up looking for her dummy. It took about 90 minutes to get her back to sleep, and once she was gone, it was 7:50am before we heard from her again. I got up this time. Changed her. My second ever shitty nappy. Fed her, and put her back to sleep. For 9 minutes, when she woke up, and Melissa fetched her and they watched Mickey Mouse in bed while I listened to some David Bowie and caught up on the internet.
Before I knew it, it was after11am and we were at (the) ASDA doing our weekly shop. Suicide looks better in retrospect; it was jammed to the gills. Still, in about an hour we were done and home, and putting stuff away.
I settled on the couch to watch Return to Oz when we were rudely interrupted by Lea and Hannah who'd come to drink our tea and steal our thoughts. They left at about half 3, and we fed Penny, then headed out at about 4:30pm to Tracy and Dave's to give Tracy her birthday pressie.
After that we headed to Melissa's mum and dads for a quick "hello" and then came home to bath Penny, feed her, put her to bed, and cook and eat tea.
Not exactly the lazy Sunday I'd hoped for, but a good day nonetheless.
Fingers crossed for another good night with Penny tonight, as it's back to work tomorrow. Monday. Awesome. Might have an early night, but then after such a good kip last night, it's hard to tell what I might do. Melissa, will, I'm sure be watching the Dancing On Ice shite so whatever I do it wont involve Sky television.
Maybe a film. Maybe a film and a beer. Exciting, isn't it?
