Day 300, 301 and 302

Apologies for the lack of updates, my PC is sporadically goosed, and it makes updating tricky.

Anywhere, here we go. Hope you all had a great Christmas and boxing day, we did. Melissa got us up at about 6:40 on Christmas morning, I fed Penny, then we went downstairs and opened our presents to each other. A little later we Skyped my mum and and brother and his girlfriend and opened our presents from them.

It would be fair to say Penny got a little spoiled.

After we'd tidied up a bit, Melissa's dad came and picked us up and we settled into their house for Christmas day. We had a lovely time, we took Penny to the pub for a drink and then came back to the house for Christmas dinner. My (Jamie's) sprouts went down a treat.

Penny enjoying her Hipp Organic chicken dinner.
Home, then, and to bed. By about 9pm. Stuffed. Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey was on too. So that was Ok.

Monday, then, and up at a reasonable hour today. I put together Penny's Jumperoo and set her to work. She loved it. I'm quite keen on it, too.

Then, up to the inlaws again for a left overs roast. Home, then, to Skype Melissa's family in Canada and then to bed, per chance to sleep. It doesn't sound like a busy day, but it was.

Yesterday, then, Penny slept until almost 8am. It was wonderful. We got up, I sat with her and watched Mickey mouse, then... later on. I forget when. We put her down for a nap in her big-girls bed. And nap she did.

That evening we dropped Penny at her nana and grandads and we went to the Annual Crank Christmas Party at Casa Crank. And what a jolly knees up it was. Tracy was a perfect hostess, keeping the nibbles and booze flowing, while Dave supplied the Sambuca. Dell (not the PC manufacturers) supplied this :

That provided a lot of fun. And pain. Then, just before midnight, father in law picked us up and we went back to their house for sleeps.

Woke up around 9am, just after Penny, who was in a lovely mood. We all went downstairs, where sausage butties were waiting. Then we all had a doze whilst watching Wild China on Eden.

Penny loves Sophie the Giraffe.
All in all we've had a lovely Christmas, thanks to everyone who bought Penny gifts, she's truly been spoiled. But she's also been very well behaved, so I suppose she deserves it.

She's still sicky at times, but it doesn't seem like as much as she used to be. She has her good days and her bad days. But then so do we all.

This afternoon we're back off up to the in laws to await the arrival of the Okehampton lot and some of Melissa's dad's game pie. Noms.

There may or may not be a blog tomorrow, depending on how my internet behaves.

Speak you all soon, though! And if I don't have a great New Year!
