About 9am I got up and we Skype'd my brother and his fiancée in New Zealand to thank them for the lovely Christmas stocking they sent Penny, then we set about our day. I gave Penny some porridge, then we clothed her and headed to Ormskirk Hospital for our appointment with the paediatric consultant.
Unfortunately Penny was having a bad-hair day.
She was very well behaved. Our little chubster is up to 12lb6oz. We've (she's) been prescribed Renitadine and Domperidon to calm the acid, prevent reflux and hopefully soothe any pains. We start with that tomorrow.
Afterwards we picked Melissa's mum up and took her out for tea to say "thanks" for having Penny last weekend. We're all stuffed now, as Penny's just had a bottle too.
This evening it's time for cleaning the house. Melissa is going to boil up some veg for Penny's first proper solid food tomorrow.
