Was sleeping well, until about 5am, when Penny woke up whimpering. We tried to get her to doze off, but she was having none of it, so Melissa made her a bottle and I eventually fell asleep at about 6:15am. My alarm woke me at 7am, but I defied it, and didn't get up until 7:20am. At which point the heavens opened.
Fortunately, Jeff was on hand to give me a lift in.
I worked out of our Manchester office for most of the day, which was nice. It was good to see some of our colleagues over there. Got back to work at about half 2, then Melissa picked me up at 4am (without Penny) and we went to (the) ASDA for some shopping.
Penny's been a proper grump today and it's hard to know what's wrong with her. We've been giving her Gaviscon for her acid, which seems to be helping to a degree, certainly her reflux doesn't seem to be as bad as it was, she's also pooing regular, so we don't think it's anything like that, but she's very drooly, her cheeks are pink, and she's started chewing stuff; we're pretty sure she's teething. Whatever the case, she's been doing a LOT of screaming today. Maybe she's tired because she was up at 5am. I know I've felt like screaming at points today.
Anyway, I've just bathed her, Melissa is dressing her, and then we'll feed her and put her down for an early night. Even if it's just teething, she needs her sleep. But she might be a little bit ill too, she's been sneezing a bit and has a slight temperature.
See you tomorrow.
