First things first, lets get this out the way :
Good, innit? All my own work. No, not really, it was all Melissa. I wasn't allowed in the room. She's done an excellent job though.
Penny slept from 8pm until about 2am this morning and instead of crying was just incredibly restless and noisy. She tossed and turned and made a funny noise whenever her dummy fell out. Melissa fed her at 5am, and we finally got back to sleep at about half 5. Not a good night.
I was late for work too, so not a good morning. It was cold as flip today, coldest day so far I reckon. The walk woke me up, anyway. Work was hideous again today. I don't even want to talk about it.
Penny had a big day though. Her friends Harry and Josh came to play, Penny rolled onto her back for the first time, and Melissa introduced baby rice into the diet. Just a little, just to shut her up while we're trying to have tea. It worked though. But I think she's got a taste for it now. Tonight we're locking the cats in the kitchen/dining room area so we can open our bedroom door and allow a little air flow. Also, the little one is in heat and hasn't stopped mewing all day, so hopefully we wont be able to hear her in the kitchen.
This evening I'm hoping to chill out a little after my horrible week, but who knows what will happen.
