Well, bugger me. Penny slept for almost 10 hours last night. There was a moment at 9:30pm when we thought we were in for a long night, when she started screaming, but it turned out it was just a big fart. At about 4am when she stirred up, but went straight back to sleep. We woke up at 7am, I fed her, and then we all dozed until about 9am.
We got up, showered, bathed her, her nanny (my mother in law, Melissa's mother) picked her up and Melissa and me went out to Liverpool, Melissa to see her friend and me to meet some of mine.
Had a good laugh with Stew and Lea, some food, and then met Melissa at half 2. We went home, tidied the house from to bottom, then went to (the) ASDA for some baby milk which I'd forgotten yesterday, and some cat food, which I also didn't pick up.
Then we went to the in laws. I went for a pint with Tommy and Mel's brother while Penny, Melissa, her mum, Melissa's brother's girlfriend and thier daughter did stuff. Cooked, darned socks round the fire, read each other poems. I don't know. We came back to find food prepared, which we duly ate.
Then, Me, Melissa and Penny came home. Melissa fed Penny while the three of us watched a film. Melissa then went to bed with Penny to watch X Factor. I played some MW3 but I'm too tired, so I came to write this.
I was going to get into bed but I can't abide X Factor, so I might do some reading.
Another busy day tomorrow, Skyping with my brother and his fiancée and then my mum and dad are coming to visit.
