Day 256

More MW3 until midnight. I completed the single player game, and will tonight start my online domination.

Slept averagely, Penny woke just before 6am for a feed, which knackered my sleep once again. Managed to doze back off, briefly, but my alarm went off and I got up for work like a good little boy.

From what I can tell Penny behaved well throughout the day, until about 3pm when she kicked off again, this time for a feed. I came home to Melissa feeding her, then went to (the) ASDA for supplies, for a change. Came home and Penny was happy as Larry, sat in Melissa's lap looking round and giggling. Excellent. We put her in her swing and she dozed off. Melissa took that opportunity to have a bath while I watched last night's Life's Too Short, the put Pointless on. At some point she'd woken up but just lay there squawking and cooing and just generally being lovely and pleasant. Melissa came in and I said "Awww, isn't she amazing?" to which she said, rather ominously: "Calm before the storm". I swear when she said it there was a crack of thunder. Or a knock at the door. Or an auditory hallucination. It's hard to tell. Either way, she was right. About 10 minutes later, just as round two was kicking off, so did Penny. Screamy McScreamerson.

We threw down tea (I'd lovingly prepared pie, chips, peas and gravy) and dunked her in the bath which usually helps. It didn't help. Melissa is currently snuggling her in the feeding chair while her bottle cools. She's either very greedy, got a very high metabolism, suffers from bad acid reflux, or colicy. The only one of them we can attempt to control is the acid reflux, so we're cutting out her Infacol as we've read that that can inflame the reflux.

Tonight's the final for Big Brother. Meaning, hopefully, online domination of MW3 can start early and finish late.

Fingers crossed!

Have a great weekend, see you tomorrow.
