Played Batman until far too late, didn't sleep properly. Was late for work. I hate Fridays.
Work was alright, in all honesty. It just seemed to go a little slowly. I was also jipped out of £4 in a "trick or treat" tombola thing. I 'won' an Olay gift set. Woo.
Melissa met me from work at (the) ASDA, having picked up some stuff for my birthday (a card, wrapping paper, etc) and we walked home where I fed Penny in my new reading chair then Melissa and Penny wrapped my birthday present(s?) and we chucked Penny in the bath.
She and Melissa are currently downstairs, having some tummy time and watching Mickey Mouse, which is the primary reason I'm up here; I hate Mickey Mouse.
This evening we've elected to get takeaway, as we haven't eaten yet and can't be bothered to cook (it's 7:20pm) then Melissa will hopefully go to bed for Big Brother, X Factor and all the guff and me and Batman will take down Joker once and for all.
Then, early night, long day tomorrow.
Also, Jason, the painter and decorator came round today to do some prep. He's painted the ceiling of the hall and stairs and stripped all the wallpaper. He's coming back next week to finish off for us. In the meantime Melissa and I will paint the doors and bannister and, once the papering's done : CARPET! I love shopping for carpet.
