Day 241

Penny woke up at 4am for a feed, but I barely remember that. Awoke again at 7am and it was really cold and I didn't want to get out of bed. But I did, showered, and walked to work, and it transpired it was warmer than I thought. Again.

Work was alright. It was Howard's 40th, so there was cake and sweets. After work, Melissa picked me and a chair up that I'd been given by Matt at work and we came home, showered and changed and met up with some chaps and chapesses from work for a birthday meal for Howard.

We were at the Left Bank in Ormskirk and it was very nice. Excellent service, slightly creepy waiters and a lovely atmosphere. I had squid, followed by pizza. Melissa had steak Caesar salad followed by pork loin in some sort of sauce. It was nice. She followed it with banoffee pie, and I had cheese and biscuits.

 Afterwards we came home, having collected Penny from her nana and papa Tommy. I've just made the bed while Melissa does... Stuff.

Painter/decorator is coming tomorrow to make a start, so I've had to dig out some paint for the ceiling from the spider cupboard in the garden. I'm now feeling itchy and on edge.

Time for some South Park and maybe a soupçon of Batman.
