Day 240

I played Batman until almost 1am. A mistake, some would say. I think, however, my biggest mistake was starting The Riddler challenges at 11:30pm. It was hard to stop.

Anyway, I did. But then, because I was mental exhausted, but wide awake, my brain started playing tricks on me. I spent a further 25 minutes looking for the house keys, and then, when I couldn't find them, I focussed my mentalness on ensuring that we had the correct fittings for the heated towel rail my dad and uncle to install for us today. I needed to be sure in my head that it was straight forward, and needed no instruction. Once that was done, I remembered where the house keys were and was able to go to bed and sleep.

I awoke at about 3am, when Penny decided she was hungry, and promptly fell straight back to sleep.

I then awoke at 7am and got up, showered and went to work. Melissa and the baby didn't hear me and slept until a little before 9am.

I spent most of the day in our Manchester office today, working. That was fun. A nice change of scene.

Melissa and Penny then picked me up from work and we went to (the) ASDA for more stuff.

We came home, Melissa fed Penny, I filled the radiator, bled it, refilled the loop to get the pressure back up (yeah, I know what I'm talking about, what of it?).

After tea we bathed Penny, then I sat with her while Melissa had a bath. Then Melissa fed her and we watched the stunning new BBC documentary Frozen Planet, with obligatory voice over from Sir David Attenborough. I'm not sure he's a sir, but he should be. Melissa wept when the seal was eaten by the killer whales. I thought it was incredible. Some people are so hard to please. I spoke to my mum, she felt the same as Melissa, but my dad agreed with me.

Then it was now. Melissa and Penny are watching some more TV, I've got to clear space in my office for my new chair. Tomorrow is an exciting day.

See you then!
