Err, Ok, yesterday... My mum and dad came round. My dad helped me lift my (still boxed) shelves upstairs and we had nice time drinking tea and poking Penny.
Once they'd left I set about building the shelves in a space too small for said task, whilst tired and hungover. It did not go well. I managed to snap a piece of it by standing on it and I think I almost managed to snap my back too. Still, I finished it. We had tea, caught up on Grey's Anatomy and Idiot Abroad, then Melissa watched X Factor results with Penny while I loaded the shelves with my books and some of Melissa's books. We've got a veritable library going on now.
Bed. No sleep. Couldn't get comfortable at all, probably coz I spent two hours playing Batman before I went to bed. I had some bizarre dreams and before I knew it Penny wanted feeding and it was almost 7am. Joy.
Melissa fed Penny while I tried dozing a bit, then at 7:15am I got up just as Penny and Melissa were going back to sleep.
Work was alright, thankfully, and not too busy. I muddled through, came home, and was dispatched to (the) ASDA for some tea and some essentials. We had pita breads and chicken salad for tea. Not pizza. We watched Dumbo while we ate. Such a wondeful film. Easily one of the early Disney greats. Then, after the racist crows sang about flying elephants I upped and and away'd to Liverpool, to meet Stewart, for TinTin at the IMAX.
It was really quite decent, and I can imagine absolutely loving it if I was about 10. As it is though, I turn 29 soon, and I only just rather enjoyed it.
Homeward bound, I stopped at (the) ASDA (for a change) to get some less essential essentials, then came home, made my lunch for tomorrow and sat down to write this.
Melissa is about to feed Penny, then it's bed time.
Good night!
