Saturday.
Penny was restless all night, and we didn't sleep great. At about 8am we 'awoke' and Melissa made us teas, brought them back to bed and we dozed for a bit.
At about 10:30am Melissa's brother came round to see us, and to pick up a card and pressie for his new daughter, my niece (weirder sounding than my daughter) and then I cooked some bacon butties for me and Melissa.
We spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon tidying the house. My mum and dad arrived just after 2:30pm and I gave my dad his birthday card and present and we then bathed Penny in her big girl chair. She was quite well behaved and smiled for photos.
We then sat drinking tea and chatting and, after my mum and dad had left we got ready to go out, to the pub, for Mark's 40th.
We got there earlier than everyone else based on the logic that we wouldn't be staying too late. By the time we left, we'd been joined by most of the people I work with and Melissa had plenty of people to talk to about baby's and in general we had a good night. I'm too drunk to name everyone, suffice to say, there was a fair few.
Melissa is currently feeding Penny, and I'm going to watch something Batmany I think.
Tomorrow I've committed myself to tidying my 'office'. I hope I can come up with a reasonable excuse to get out of it.
