I traipsed into work, it was already quite warm and muggy and it got worse as the day wore on. Unpleasant, but, you know... Nice.
At lunch time I wandered to the concourse for my lunch and a marinade for the ribs I intend on buying tomorrow. Nom.
Mother in law picked me up from work as she was going to the doctors with Melissa and Penny for their 6 week check up. Six weeks. Insanity. I was thankful for the lift, I didn't want to walk home in the heat. No siree. We arrived home, Melissa and her mother walked to the doctors and I set to work baking.
Before preliminary baking. That's the new blender we bought to replace the one we borrowed that Melissa 'accidentally' broke. It's good. It'll be a shame to give it back.

There'll be a photo tomorrow of it part eaten, I hope... Naturally I'm getting a lift to work tomorrow. I couldn't possibly carry that to work. I'd eat the bastard thing.
Penny is now 8lb10oz. Well, at least she was until Melissa stripped her down at the doctors to reveal the shittiest nappy ever seen. She said she was wiping her for what seemed like forever. We reckon she's probably about 8lb8oz, allowing for shit.
I cooked a lovely pizza for tea, then I nwent to (the) ASDA to get some beers and other odds and ends, then came home and sat with Penny while Melissa had a bath.
Now it's time to sup a beer or two and watch a film, while Melissa, not content with the British X Factor is going to force my child to sit through the American one too. Don't worry, I'm speaking to my lawyers.
See you tomorrow, no doubt with more cake photos.
