Hello, hello.
First of all, thank you to Penny's uncle Dave and aunty Jen for their lovely gift. I promised I'd take photos of Penny enjoying it, but we've had a busy evening, and now Penny is asleep and covered in baby puke and it would be a shame to dirty the gift, so tomorrow morning, when she's fresh as a daisy and in a lovely frock, I'll take some lovely pictures and attach them to tomorrow's blog.
Penny slept through most of the night. Her last feed was a little after midnight, and she woke at 5am for more food, and then went straight back to sleep, so we all three had a reasonable nights sleep.
I walked to work this morning, trench foot and all, avoiding exacerbating the condition by not walking through really deep puddles.
Work was alright... I'm pleased I survived the first week back after paternity leave without falling asleep at my desk.
Got a lift home at 4pm from Ellen and fed Penny while Melissa tidied the house and had a shower then Lea and Hannah turned up. Me and Lea ordered curry, Mel and Hannah ordered Chinese. We ate well.
We then watched drivel on TV all night and when there was no drivel left to watch Lea and Hannah left.
I feel like more has happened today, but I'm pretty sure it hasn't. It's been a long day, and I think we're all pretty tired. Unfortunately I refuse to go to bed until Hollyoaks has finished, and so I'm having a beer and writing this.
