Woke at 8am to greet great uncle Kenny, our tiler. He's finished the wall today. He's back on Friday when he intends on grouting the wall and starting (and hopefully completing) the floor. If all goes according to plan I'll be showering before work on Monday morning! How exciting.
I've ordered a shower curtain rail today, and have also pencilled in Penny's granddad to come and fit it at the weekend. I just need to see how easy it/practical it is to drill into porcelain tiles. All things being equal you'll have some photos on Sunday evening. I know that's why you keep coming back.
Once great uncle Kenny left we lounged about watching the athletics for a bit, and then I decided to try and clean out the gutter of the conservatory. One large bucket of mulchy shite and a probable case of E Coli later and I'd all but finished it. There's a dead area in the middle of the gutter space that butts (tee-hee) up against the wall that I can't reach, but I've made good headway on clearing it. The corners, where it appears most of the water is getting in are clear now though. So we'll see what happens.
That done, we had some lunch and then my mother in law arrived to take Melissa and Penny to Mothercare in Aintree for some baby stuff, leaving me time to catch up with my TV shows.
Upon their return Melissa asked me to hold the baby while she pottered, so I did. She does a lot of pottering recently.

It was Melissa. There was a couple of other photos taken, but I look wrong, so I've excluded them.
Once pottering was completed, I fed Penny and then we headed up the in laws for showers. We've come home now, Melissa is watching True Blood with Penny while I write this, then we might watch a film. I just don't know.
