Last night was another good night. Penny slept through, until her designated feed times, when she was woken, fed, and put back to sleep. These feeding windows are so well regimented it's impressive. We put her in bed with us after her 6am feed and we all three of us slept until 9am.
We got up, had breakfast, all three of us and sat round for most of the day doing nothing really. The midwife came early afternoon. Penny is now 6lb4oz (I think) which is excellent, she's really feeding well and piling on the ozs. Several people came to visit today. The postman brought a parcel, the neighbours from the far corner brought a card, and later this evening some other neighbours also brought a card and gift over. Lovely people in our street.
The big news for the day though was that great uncle Kenny came to start the tiling. Woo! He was only here for about an hour but he's worked hard and finished half of one of the walls. It looks really good, I can't wait until it's all done. It should look very impressive. Photos, obviously.
He left a little after 7, at which point I phoned my mum and dad and had a lovely chat with them. Then I went to the chippy for tea, came back, watched some X Factor with Melissa and Penny (who doesn't seen that interested really). Melissa is now going to milk herself while I have a beer or two and we both watch a lovely film together. Aww.
