Day 175

Had a better night last night still... As the processes are being refined, and we're figuring out the best ways to do things we're getting more and more sleep. So that's good.

Had a busy day today and left the house just before 8am, nothing to do with the baby you understand, I had a prior engagement with a couple of mates to help out with some prep work on a short film one of them is filming. Maybe some photos of that tomorrow. Maybe not. I'll have to check with the director.

On the way home I stopped at Pets At Home for cat litter and Mothercare for a "feeding ring" which is like a giant cushion which offers support for the baby and feeders arm during feeding. I also bought nipple shields, but that's another story.

I came home to find the house full of people. Melissa and Penny (obviously), my mother in law was in the shoe cupboard sorting, my uncle Lawrence was upstairs hanging some doors, my father was in my shed (formerly the spider cupboard) sorting that out, and mother was making tea, having just finished hacking down my prized buddleia and cleaning out the conservatory. Everyone had been very busy, and the house is very nearly ready for human habitation.

We tidied up what little mess my uncle Lawrence had left and headed up to the inlaws for our showers. Then we came home, Melissa bathed Penny and got her ready for bed.

Penny admiring her awesome balloon.

This is a picture of Penny by the window, in the sun, clearing up her jaundice and admiring the excellent balloon uncle Dave and aunty Jenni have sent.

Going to watch new Curb Your Enthusiasm in a moment, then join my wife and child in bed for "quality time" before another early night, preparing for day two of principal photography tomorrow.

Busy, busy, busy!
