Last night I watched a Japanese animated film called Arriety, while Melissa lay in bed keeping me up to date on the riots.
We both slept well, I had some weird dreams, but other than that... Good.
Work was mostly uneventful for the both of us. Melissa now only has 2 days left. Lucky cow.
After work we headed to (the) ASDA for some tea (pizza) and then came home and painted the baby's room. Pink. I can't describe just how pink, but just 'pink' doesn't really cover it. Worse still it's going to need a second coat as it's a little patchy in places. That's my Saturday sorted.
The man with the tiling stuff is coming hopefully some time on Saturday to measure up and tell us what we need to get and so forth. We've got less for him to do than originally anticipated, having decided to paint a lot of the bathroom instead of tile the whole room. Friday evening Melissa is going to look at some wood and other stuff for boxing the bathroom in, too. Nearly there...
We've only just got back from showering as Maggie and Gracie (both 9 years old) decided to put a play on for us. It was lovely.
Now we're back I'm anticipating giving a foot massage. It's too late for a film and I'm far too tired to do anything noteworthy. Even this has been a struggle to be honest.
Shattered.
