Thirdly, yesterday remained uneventful. We dossed about, hit up the in laws for a Sunday roast and came home. We watched Scream 4 together and it was pretty good. I then watched Your Highness which was pretty shit.
We had a lovely lie in, and both got up at about half 9, when we were rudely awoken by a phone call from The Baby Store who informed us that our furniture was ready. I made us tea and toast and then Melissa went shopping with her mum, Maggie and Gracie. She bought me a Batman sticker book and a carpet from the carpet shop. She also made enquiries about blinds, so that's good.
They came back here, and I started painting the bathroom while my mother in law papered the baby's room. Once she was done we cleared everything out of there and a man came to measure up for the carpet, he'll phone with a price tomorrow.
If you remember me dismantling the bed from the spare room/baby's room, you might remember there was a mattress left over. This mattress has been propped up against the wall for a few weeks, and the little cat, Bella, has become quite fond of sitting on it :
She was upset today, visibly, when my brother in law came to take the mattress away. She hasn't talked to me since. Poor Bella.
We then headed up to the in laws for tea and showers. A decent chicken curry and naan bread. Om.
Home now, Melissa is watching True Blood, I'm dying for a glass of water which I'll go and get in a minute.
Back to work tomorrow. Yay.
