Day 156

Slept well, the house cooled down somewhat as the night wore on and it was actually quite pleasant.

I awoke before my alarm, nice and refreshed, went to the toilet and got back into bed. That bulldozer was back, only this time it was dragging several empty beer kegs behind it. Wait, no, it was Melissa again. I recorded it this time. But my conscience got the best of me and I deleted the recording.

Work was moderately hectic today. Nothing I couldn't handle. Melissa now only has 5 days left in work. Bitch.

After work we came home to find a card from the postman advising a package was too big for our slot. Read into that what you will. It turned out it was a pair of flip flops Melissa had bought me on Tuesday. They were delivered today. I was impressed. They're like flip flops I currently own, except they're not falling apart.

My mother in law turned up to strip... The wallpaper in the ex spare room, soon to be baby's room while I went into the bathroom to apply an undercoat to the newly skimmed plaster. I cut in all the edges and reached for my roller. It was only then that I realised my mother had stolen the rollers when she was round the other week. And so I put the lid back on the paint and had a massive sneezing fit during which I nearly died. Loads of dust in the air and on the dust sheet I used to cover the sink and bog while painting. I'm still a mess. Chest is tight, keep coughing, eyes are sore.

Went up to the in laws, showered, then had tea (pie and chips). I was then presented with another mould-based desert :

Ladies and gentlemen, one whole pint of blancmange. All for me.

After that I watched the Classic Albums about Lou Reed's Transformer album. Came home and now I'm writing this and listening to Transformer.

I will shortly go and watch a film or Breaking Bad and then go to bed, where I doubt I'll sleep due to breathing difficulties.

See you tomorrow!
