It was WELL hot last night. I watched Miller's Crossing which was pretty good, and joined my lovely wife in bed to roast to death.
Fortunately we survived and got to go to work. That was lucky. It was, once again, mostly uneventful for the both of us. Melissa did her aquanatal shenanigans. I did not. She now has 6 days left in work.
We left together for what seemed like the first time in for ages, shot home, picked up a change of clothes and then shot up to her mum and dads for showers and then up to Wigan for paint, food and Captain America.
Paint getting was good. Food was better. Captain America is was excellent.
We got a lovely browny beigey bathroomy painty for me to crack on with tomorrow evening. For tea on cinema nights we tend to get a Burger King but we had more time than usual this evening so we went to Frankie and Benny's to take advantage of the 2 meals for £10 offer. I'm glad we did, it was pretty good. Afterwards we went to the cinema to take advantage of their "Saver Tuesday" deal which means all tickets are like, £3 and we saw Captain America. I really enjoyed it. Melissa did not. It was really warm in the cinema, and she had difficulty getting comfortable. She was itchy, achey and just generally pregnant.
I thought about leaving, but we'd paid for the seats and I wanted to see how it ended so I made us stay. Sue me.
We're home now, she's in bed melting, I'm sat in my undies drinking a beer and typing this.
See you tomorrow!
