Not long after that, as prophesied my father in law and brother in law came round to fit a lovely new window in our bathroom. I'll take some photos of that tomorrow. It was dark when we got home, and I'm too drunk to hold the camera steady.
I was sent to Aldi for some eggs as Melissa was baking cakes. I got there, picked up some sausages and then came home, having completely forgotten the eggs. I went round the corner and procured some eggs and then we headed up to Melissa's mum and dads for Melissa's baby shower.

I know, baby shower, American bollocks. It was basically a bunch of women talking about babies and eating party food. Me and the guys, Dave, Lea, my brother in law, father in law and my dad wandered round to the pub for a few pints while the women... I don't know what they did. US men arrived later on to eat food. I was roped into BBQing' (I love it) and we all sat round chatting, boozing and eating.
I was allowed to burn paper and a fence panel later on, while drunk. It was awesome. Kept us all nice and warm, despite the fact it was a mental hot day and we didn't need warming up.
I wish we had a usable shower. I stink of smoke, booze and sweat. Never mind. It was a lovely day, and thanks to everyone who came for the gifts and wonderful company.
