Another quiet day. Didn't get the job I interviewed for the other week. Shitty interview, basically. Never mind. Maybe next time. Almost bought some Transformers toys at lunchtime to make myself feel better. Bought a donut instead. Cheaper and more sugar. Om.
Came home, and just as I was getting changed there was a knock at the door. It was the chap from across the way with two massive boxes that had been delivered to him as we'd been out all day. It was the high chair. Pictures of that in situ, when the dining room is complete. And not a moment before.
The bathroom fundamentals are complete. Bog, bath and sink are well and truly in place. We also have a window to go in, and ladders with which to do that. Hopefully some time tomorrow that'll be done, and we'll be ready to begin the decorating process. It's tantalisingly close to being ready. I'm so excited.
This evening, like yesterday evening, I have nothing major planned. Having had my tea and watched season 2 episode 1 of Breaking Bad, I'm now waiting round for the call to pick Melissa up before we shower and come home. I think I may watch a comedy film this evening with a beer or two "to drown my sorrows" as they say. It's as good an excuse as any.
Tomorrow is almost Friday (Thursday). Nothing that I can think of to get excited about. See you then.
