Day 136

She saw a doctor, who called a consultant, who advised she stay in over night to see a dermatologist first thing in the morning, so the ever-loving husband that I am, I delivered an overnight bag to her and returned home shortly before 1am.

I was therefore somewhat shitbaggy today. Fortunately I took an hour and a half lunch to collect my lovely wife from the hospital. She had been prescribed some stronger anti-histamines, some stronger hydrocortisone and an industrial vat of aqueous cream. She was also advised that the rash is likely to get worse before it gets better, with the last 2 weeks of pregnancy being the worst. However, usually, within a week of delivering the baby the rash should clear up.
Not a very good photo...

Also, just remembered, she's started lactating and it's important to point out here that the baby appears to be fine and unaware of any of the trauma she's causing.

Melissa picked me up from work at 4pm, we came home and bought a bathroom which should be delivered on Monday or Tuesday. This weekend will probably be quite hectic, getting rooms ready for stuff. The mother in law is coming round on Saturday to help me tidy up. She's quite good at that.

After that we showered and met up with Tracy and Dave for tea and a few drinks.

I took this picture a few weeks ago, I only found it this evening :

I just thought it reminded me of a level from a Super Mario game.

Tomorrow is Friday. See you then!
