Day 99

It was too late to watch a film last night so I watched some Batman cartoons and went to bed to read my book of atrocities.

Managed to get a lift this morning with Ellen, which is just as well because it started pissing down just as I left the house. Melissa was already at work and carried my lunch in with her. She's lovely like that.

Work was mostly boring this morning with some minor moments of surprise in the afternoon. The day seemed to drag slightly, but I think that's because I was excited to pick up this on the way home :

That's right. Ladders. I know, incredible, right? I've never owned ladders. It was a big day for me. It's to get into the loft to store crap. I went up there before. It was dark. There was a wasp nest. I didn't take photos. I excited and wobbly in equal measure.

Some baby related news: We had a parcel delivered from Canada this afternoon, it was full of fantastic baby clothes, including another pair of shoes. Melissa was made up, I was just pleased there wasn't too much pink stuff. Thank you very much Tim, Ashley and more importantly, Emma.

Bump update :

She does appear to be sticking it out a bit, and I'm aware it looks like there's a cats arse sticking out of her belly button. That's just how we roll round here.

My lovely wife prepared hotdogs and chips for us for tea. Good wife.

We've tentatively been given a date of next Thursday for the first stage of bathroom work to be done. Looks like I might have to take a day off work. Shame that. A damn shame.

As you probably know by now, it's CSI night on Tuesdays so this evening I'm definitely going to watch  a film, although I'm not sure which.

See you tomorrow. What surprises and wonderment will day 100 hold? I can't even begin to imagine.

Bye!
