Day 95

Watched a film called Quiz Show last night from 1994, it was a true story about corruption in the TV industry in the 1950s (that's television, not transvestite). It was pretty good.

Friday in work. It was pretty good. I slept in this morning and didn't have time to have breakfast at home so had some toast at work. Me and Adam tried to steal the change cache from the coke machines using a method he'd found on the internet. It didn't work.

Melissa left at 12 to sunbathe and she's burned her chest. Typical. I got a lift home with Ellen, who told me  we drove home yesterday with a totally flat tyre. What type of driver doesn't realise that? Also typical.

I tidied the garden in preparation for The Burning and pruned the shit out of a hydrangea. I assume it's a hydrangea. I have absolutely no reason to think it is, but I also have no reason to think it isn't, so...

Once that was done I went into the lean to building (the door is being done next week, the glass has taken longer than expected to be delivered) to look for stuff to burn and noticed the whole structure was wooden. I went a little crazy ripping wood and polystyrene off the walls. I was sweating like a someone in a something. The weather has been glorious today.

Melissa came home with pizza which we ate and I went to pick Howard up. We drank booze and burned wood for about 3 hours. I love fire and I'm relatively free of injury, only a few minor burns and blisters which should be OK by morning.

Melissa is in bed sweating, it's mental hot. We've got two fans in the bedroom now. I don't imagine I'm going to sleep well, and I'm confident Melissa won't.

I'm out on the lash tomorrow, so I won't be blogging, but Sunday... Now then, that'll be a blog you won't want to miss. Though I'll understand perfectly if you do.

Have a great weekend, and be sure to enjoy this incredible weather.

TTFN.
