It was thankfully (relatively) quite a cool night and we both slept reasonably well after a beer (for me) and some Nathaniel Rateliff (music).
Had no desire to get up this morning, but we did so, for the greater good. It was Quiz Day. Our team didn't do great... but we probably didn't do the worst either. I like to think I did most of the work. But I didn't. We recruited Howard for some of the alcohol related questions. Not because he has a problem, but because he used to work behind a bar and will, with the slightest excuse, tell you that he learned to make cocktails from the man who Tom Cruise to make cocktails in the film Cocktail.
On returning home from work it quickly became apparent that the man across the way had almost completed his fence.
We popped into our house, picked up a change of clothes and then head up to the in laws for tea and showers. We barbecued again as it was a lovely evening. I ate loads of burgers and sausages and so unfortunately didn't have room for the delicious looking lemon meringue...
We were there longer than anticipated, and have only just got home. We were going to watch Luther, but it's too late and Melissa is tired.
I'm going to do what I did last night, have a beer and listen to some music. We're at the hospital tomorrow morning for some glucose checks for Melissa. I'm tagging along because it means a lie in for me.
See you tomorrow, hopefully with some plaster related news!
