Watched Transformers. It was good.
Work was OK again. It currently feels like a Wednesday, I'm painfully aware it's a Tuesday.
Melissa did aqua-natal again today, her baby course finished last week so she was back at work before 2pm. At 4pm we left work on a tight schedule. We came home, inspected the plasterers handiwork, bagged up a change of clothes, shot up to Mel's mum and dad's, showered, headed to McDonalds for a quick in transit much, and then into Liverpool for a special free preview of Transformers 3.
It was MUCH better than the second one, and in many ways better than the first one. The action is easier to follow, the 3D was the best I've seen since Avatar, the plot... existed, and Megan Fox's replacement was... blonde.
It wasn't as good as The Godfather though. I haven't seen that, so I suppose it could have been. But I doubt it.
Home now, tired and warm. I'm going to have a beer and then probably get into bed with my wife and cats.
Here's some pictures of the work the plasterer has done (which is very good, and reasonably priced).
This is the new back door, all boxed in, smoothed off and skimmed over.
Had to do the wall too as there was some electrical work that had been bastardised by the previous occupants which had to be ripped out.
It's a lovely job and just needs papering.
Aces.
This is the conservatory. It was previously just bare brick all round the walls and wasn't very homely.
When the plasterer came to size up the job was asked him what the chances were of him sorting it out. He had no problems at all, boarded the lot out and whacked a load of plaster on. Also very nicely done. Just needs a lick of paint.
Mel's brother is also looking at getting the many and varied leaks in the conservatory sorted for us. all in all, a productive day. For them, at least.
Now it's time for that beer I mentioned, and to get into my lounge wear and listen to some music. Until tomorrow, my friends.
Bye!
