We watched The Two Towers. It was good. Then Melissa went to watch TV in bed and I watched some Louis CK. Funny stuff.
We got up at about 9am, Melissa did bacon butties and we waited for the plasterer who never arrived.
We were due a nice day today, so we went up to Melissa's mum and dads to sit in the garden. We showered after a bit and my mum and dad turned up. We showed them the pram, they were impressed. We had a cuppa and then headed to The Collier's Arms for a belated fathers day tea.
The pub was excruciatingly hot and as a consequence, after out delicious food (thank you very much, mum and dad!) Melissa and I made plans to have showers again at her parents house.
We came back here first to show my mum and dad the work in progress that is out back garden and our bathroom. We were also given a bin bag full of barely used and in some cases brand new baby clothes that my dad's mate has passed on to us. Melissa's sorting through them at the moment, setting them out in size, colour, potential outfit combinations... It's just as well the wardrobe we bought is massive!
My parents left (thank you again guys!), and we went back up to Mel's parents for showers, but before that we sat in the neighbours garden for a bit, chatting. Lovely people, the Gough's. I have to say that though, they read this.
Home now. Boiling again and trying not to sweat. It's supposed to be even warmer tomorrow. I'm not excited about that in the slightest.
This evening, a beer I think, and maybe a film.
