Day 112

Watched Paul (alright, I suppose) and the last two episode of Curb.

Work. Incredible. Well, I'm over selling it. It was a typical Monday. Worked my lunch and got to leave at 3pm so I could go to the "4d" scan with Melissa and her mother. Prior to that Melissa had been to midwife for a check up scan. Blood pressure was fine today but glucose was quite high in her wee, so she's going back again next week for another check. Nothing to worry about though.

4D scan went well. It's DEFINITELY a girl. No doubt about it. She looks just like me, so what more proof do you need. Everything appears to be fine with her. She's feisty and her heartbeat is strong. She's bigger than she should be for 28 weeks, by about a week. But that's fine. Melissa is hoping she goes a little early. Any time in September.

No work was done on the house today, but the wheels are in motion for stuff to happen tomorrow. The skip was removed today too, no phone calls, notes or threatening messages about us overloading it.

We went up to Mel's mum and dads for our showers and we also had tea there. Fish, chips and mushy peas. Om nom nom.

Came home a little after 8pm, spoke to my mum and dad for a bit about the house, bathroom ideas, garden suggestions and foetuses and that was that.

It's well hot, and peeing down. I'm half expecting thunder. Melissa is watching Hollyoaks in bed, with her flight socks on a glass of tonic water to help with her restless leg thing (thanks mum!). There are also ice pops. coz it's hot. As previously discussed.

I'm going to have a nice cold glass of something and watch something on the something.

See you tomorrow!

Definitely a girl...
