Watched some Curb Your Enthusiasm, had a beer and decided my favourite shape of pasta was fafelle. Not as productive an evening as the day prior to it.
Got up today at a little after 8am and made myself and Melissa some bacon butties for breakfast (unintentional alliteration). Melissa went to work for 10am and I cracked on with the bathroom.
Armed with only a hammer and teeny tiny "crowbar" type thing, I felt like I was planning to tunnel out of prison. That, or shiv someone for gettin' all up in mah gril, yo.
Anyway, it was effective, as the next few photos demonstrate.
Once again, before, during and after.
My hands are battered. Blisters, cuts, sore, blood blisters.
Once that was done I sat round waiting for Mel to bring me some food, Mel's brother Thomas and Ben. And the skip. While I was waiting for all this the postman arrived with a parcel from Rachel, wife of Melissa's cousin Greg. She'd sent us some ace baby clothes that her little baby girl never got to wear before she grew too big. I can kind of see us being in a similar position in a few months time to be honest. Thanks to Rachel and Hunter, who are (probably not) avid readers of this blog.
Melissa arrived with food just as the skip turned up. Then about an hour later Thomas and Ben arrived and we set to work.
We didn't get the bath in, as Thomas didn't have any stoppers for the pipes. However, just a handful of tiles, the bath, bog and sink remain. I piled all the tiles I removed into the skip. They were heavy.
The lean to is now just some wood, a few panels and some rubble which we should be able to take to the tip. This will probably happen tomorrow.
What follows are some photos of things we found while stripping out the lean to.

| A nest for something. Probably an animal. Or teeny tiny tramp. |

| Big spider #2 |
I'd like to eat something too.
Have a good weekend, and I'll see you tomorrow!
