Melissa was in work this morning, and was out the house by about half 7. I got up at 9am and decided to walk to (the) ASDA. Just as I opened the front door it started to rain. Then it started to hail. Then it stopped and the sun came out. A brisk walk later and I was there and back again.
I made some tea and crumpets, enjoyed them and headed loftwards.
It was hot in the loft, and humid. It was not enjoyable. But I'm happy to report that I broke no limbs, and aside from the glue and fibreglass stuck to my hand I escaped almost injury free. I didn't quite finish the job because Melissa and I were due at Newburgh fair to help out at a charity book stall for Mencap that had been organised at work. So, with a little over a metre squared left to put down I showered and as soon as Melissa came home we headed out to Newburgh. Oh, by the way, while I was waiting for Melissa to get home, I happened to glance out the window and saw this :

We parked the car at a jaunty angle and met up with everyone in the marquee. Fortunately the stall was just next to the bar and it would have been rude not to sample a few of the locally brewed real ales so...
Came home, watched some TV, Melissa got into bed. She's not feeling well and is having trouble getting comfortable. We had dinner in bed together and watch The Aadams Family movie.
Fingers crossed Melissa's brother will be round tomorrow to do what he was going to do today but didn't because he was busy.
This evening, Melissa is in bed, I'm having a beer or two and watching a film. Don't know which yet.
Bye!
