Slept OK and got a lift into work with Ellen.
Friday was mildly interesting at work. And that was about it. Drove home, as Melissa went shopping with her mum into Liverpool. Got home, did my chores and sat round, expecting Melissa to get home fairly shortly. At about 18:45 she turned up with chippy tea and bags of shopping. Only one baby outfit. Ted Baker, like father like daughter. That's not to say Ted Baker is her father. I think Ted Baker is like Mr Kipling. In that I don't think he's a real person. Not that he makes exceedingly good cakes. I'm suggesting Ted Baker is a brand, rather than a man. What I'm saying is "I like Ted Baker too".
The rest of it was maternity clothes for her.
While she was out I climbed into the loft for no other reason than boredom. I've moved some boxes around and prepped it for "boarding" tomorrow. That's sort of a pun, but sort of actually what I'll be doing.
This evening I expect Melissa will be going to bed after her bath. I'm going to watch a film and have a drink. Possibly Schindler's List. Coz I'm in the mood for something lighthearted and jolly.
Tomorrow, Melissa is working in the morning, but my brother in law should be coming round to put in a door and trash our dining room.
Fingers crossed!
