(The) ASDA was lovely. Not too busy, and I picked up a television transmitter device, as we've been getting poor reception on the bedroom TV recently. This device plugs into the Sky box down stairs, and then transmits to, and can be controlled by a remote in the bedroom. £45. Cheaper than multiroom, and perfectly decent quality. It's pretty much perfect reception, too!
My day at work was spent coughing my lungs up. I went shopping at lunchtime and bought Arkham Asylum for the XBOX for a tenner to make myself feel better, and because Melissa wasn't was still off work I bought her a lovely bracelet from a charity jewellery sale in work today. She was naturally suspicious at first, but grew to accept it as a genuine and thoughtful gift.
This evening we had chippy tea, coz it's Friday. While we ate we watched Toy Story. By the time our daughter is old enough to watch it, it (the film) will be like, 20 years old. That's a terrifying thought. That's approximately the equivalent to me watching The Jungle Book when I was 5. Insane.
I'm hoping to spend the evening playing my new game while Melissa watches American Idol on the newly Sky'd upstairs TV.
I may enjoy a glass or two of wine too. I love Friday's.
Have good weekend, see you tomorrow!
